i discovered the loveliness of SCRAP, the School and Community Resource Action Project. It is a non-profit organization where you can buy things like discarded foam remnants, carpet samples, old calanders, and bits of metal junk. it is exactly the sort of place that inspires me to make collage-olicious art. it is exactly the sort of place that i love. i'm going to try to volunteer there.
i biked up to new seasons today and applied for a job there. i don't know, maybe i'll get to work in the produce department or something. i like the store. it wouldn't be terrible to work there. on my bike ride, i saw sara braun-- a reed chick. she invited me to a birthday party on sunday. oh, boy! i'm excited.
my social life has pretty much dissolved in the last few weeks. i'm not sure why. i think that friends have been busy and that dave's break up with me were some factors. i think i'm also just not so excited to be social lately. i'm perfectly happy to sit at home, alone, for too long. maybe. i'm feeling very happy and anxious for my upcoming tropical party; it'll be so nice to see so many people again.
